Book Review for Novel Interiors by Lisa Borgnes Giramonti
I've always been fascinated by interior design and that's why I chose Novel Interiors.
I prefer clean lines and I like Frank Lloyd Wright's work. Modern & fresh. Novel Interiors is based on literature such as Shakespeare. I was disappointed that this was not what I preferred.
Of course with a book like this, it is all a matter of preference. This is not my style of interior design but I am sure it is someones.

February 14, 2015---- St. Valentine's Day!
Happy Valentine's Day, my friends!
You know, we think that Valentine's Day is about flowers and chocolates from your sweetheart, romantic movies, candlelight dinners, and a stomachache the next day.
But maybe Valentine's Day is about the Lover who wants you so bad He'll do anything to get His beloved. The Lover I speak of is Jesus Christ! Jesus died on a cross, the most painful death possible, so His beloved {you} could be with Him for eternity! That sounds like true love!
So whether you are married or single, I wish you the best St. Valentines Day!
xoxo

Book Review for: "Knitting Block by Block" by Nicky Epstein
I love working with yarn. There is just something wonderful about using your hands and creating something that was just formerly a long string, into something beautiful. When I was given my options to review this month's set of books, the one that caught my was Knitting Block by Block by Nicky Epstein. Normally, I prefer a crochet hook to knitting needles but I thought, "what the heck, we'll give it a try". I received it a couple weeks later and found a beautiful, hardcover, brightly illustrated, book.
I love this book because it has many vividly colored pictures of knitting with just squares. They also have patterns to make scarves, afghans, sweaters, even little toys.
Many of the patterns are very fun, such as a smiling face on one or a martini glass with an olive!
However, some of the patterns are a little complex, so I suggest a person with experience in knitting read this book. I do not recommend it for beginners.

Happy Groundhog Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Happy Groundhog Day to you and yours!
Groundhog Day, to those of you that have been under ground or something, is a funny little holiday in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, where this little groundhog called "Phil" get pulled out of a cage. The men on the groundhog committee talk to it, and Phil tells them if he sees his shadow (6 more weeks of winter), or he does not ( an early spring).
Now, honestly, I don't really believe this, but they made a movie about. Groundhog Day with Bill Murray and Andie MacDowell is one of my all time favorite movies. Bill Murray's character is Phil, a meteoroligist for the local T.V. channel. Every year his station sends him, a camera man (Larry), and the producer (Rita), to Punxsutaney to broadcast the little rat (as Phil calls it). Anyway the next morning he finds himself having extreme deja vu. He wakes up at six a.m. the next morning to find it's Groundhog Day again!
After a while, Phil decides to be a daredevil, eating cake and a smoking cigarettes, because tomorrow will be Groundhog Day and he will never had had the cake ( SIDE NOTE: Wish I could do that!) Eventually he becomes criminal, suicidal, and thankfully, heroic. Phil begins to fall in love with Rita, so every day, he learns as much as possible about her so the next day he can impress her. Soon he realizes that she would be interested in a good man, which he is not. Phil begins to change little things about himself and uses his circumstances to save a lot of people. He learns French poetry an piano, and finally he convinces Rita that she loves him too. They wake up to find it February 3rd. A sweet ending to a sweet (and hilarious) story.
To you all, Have a very happy Groundhog Day!!!
