Food:
A Love Story by Jim Gaffigan is HILARIOUS! My family and I are huge fans of Jim
Gaffigan, who is a mostly- clean- comedian from New York City and father of
five busy children.
Food: A Love Story is about, well, food.
Though his first book, Dad Is Fat, was about parenting and children, the next
book is about something (according to the book!) he loves almost as much. I
thoroughly enjoyed his analysis of everything from McDonald's, to Hot Pockets,
to cake. He is truly passionate about his food and has spent several hours
studying (and eating) it.
I
would very much recommend this book to anyone, but I should mention that there
is some minor cursing, so maybe this is an adult read.
