Hi!!!!!!!
So we are going to do something we haven't done in a really long time. Here's the Joke of the Week!!!!!

These sentences actually appeared in a church bulletin or were announced in a church service!

Bertha Belch, a missionary from Africa will be speaking tonight at Calvary Memorial Church in Racine. Come tonight and hear Bertha Belch all the way from Africa.

Announcement in the church bulletin for a National PRAYER & FASTING conference: "The cost for attending the Fasting and Prayer conference includes meals."

"Ladies, don't forget the rummage sale. It's a chance to get rid of those things not worth keeping around the house. Don't forget your husbands."

The peacemaking meeting scheduled for today has been canceled due to a conflict.

I read some where that laughing was good for you. After reading these, I do feel better. Actually, I felt better after reading just the first one!

This is What You Just Put in Your Mouth? by Patrick Di Justo

This is What You Just Put in Your Mouth? is a silly, and albeit gross. I was not sure what to expect when I requested this book.
I received and read it in the first day. However there was a lot of technical lingo, most of which I skimmed over and got the idea. I personally think Mr. Di Justo was trying too hard to be funny, but at times he was hilarious.
Each product he touches on has a little animation of it and a "shocking" list of ingredients. Example:                                              Doritos
Armpit bacteria, fake tomatoes, and little bits of gold
After most products, he has a back story, which mainly comprises of how he got info out of tight- lipped corporations like Johnson & Johnson Co. This book was very well researched and you can tell he put a lot of time and effort into this book.
I did enjoy this book, but some of the humor was inappropriate and mature language.
Disclosure of Material Connection: I was provided a free copy of this book by Blogging for Books in exchange for my honest opinion.
