Review for: Where Treetops Glisten

Where Treetops Glisten is a heartwarming volume of three miniature novels of siblings about love, World War II, and Christmas time.

The first story is White Christmas by Cara Putnam.  This is a sweet story about a girl named Abigail who has recently lost her beau to the war. Then she meets Jackson Lucas and he changes her mind about being safely single.
The second story is I'll Be Home For Christmas by Sarah Sundin. Pete returns home from the Air Force and just feels empty. When he reconnects with a widow he used to bully when he was a boy, he helps watching her daughter and she slowly begins to trust Pete again.

The last story is called Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas by Tricia Goyer. Meridith is a nurse in Holland.  After she left nursing school in Miami, she has tried to keep busy with her work. But before she knows, she is in love!

I really enjoyed this book. I like historical fiction and though it was more of a romance than a history fiction book, it was very accurate. Two big thumbs up!!!
